The starting point of this tour is the oldest small brewery in Hagi, which has been passed down from generation to generation. From the paddies which produce the sake rice, to a rare tousei factory in which the harvested rice is polished, to a brewery in which that rice is fermented and brewed, you can enjoy the whole story of sake-making. The wisdom of our ancestors, who have made good use of the natural environment, the skills of the chief brewer, who put that wisdom to full use, and the region in which we protect and pass on: this is an SDGs experience program that connects. During the tour, Hagi resident staff will provide high quality guidance in English and Japanese. We will show you the unique rural interplay of water and rice, and the commitment of the people who make delicious local sake.
We use Giant E-bikes for the tour, which are highly functional and easy to use for people of all ages.

Age guideline: 12 or over (height 145 cm recommended for rental bicycle)
What to bring: shoes, clothes that are easy to move in, mask, drinks.
